ABOUT ME
LYNN PARK
I have always been drawn to animals—especially those that are easily overlooked. As a child, I would carry water outside for earthworms drying on the pavement and stop whenever
I encountered a stray cat.
Over time, that instinctive concern grew into a deeper curiosity about how animals live within changing environments. Through animal shelter volunteering, veterinary experience, environmental research, and art, I began exploring the connections between care, observation, and action.
Art allows me to notice details that might otherwise go unseen, while science helps me ask why they matter. I am especially interested in finding ways to bring these two perspectives together to better understand and communicate the relationships between animals, people, and the environment.
This website is a collection of the questions I have pursued, the communities I have joined, and the work I have created along the way.

Experience
My experience brings together animal welfare, scientific inquiry, art, and student leadership. As president of animal welfare clubs, I have organized shelter volunteering, invited an animal rights advocate to speak, created fundraising merchandise, and managed student-written articles on animal welfare. I also completed 126 hours of veterinary internship experience, assisting with animal handling, treatment preparation, and X-ray procedures.
Beyond animal care, I have explored science communication through Cornell’s online summer program and environmental research involving bird calls and bioacoustics. As Art Director of AquaQuest 6K, I designed event visuals and helped a student-led team raise over $15,000 for World Vision.
